Macdonald Hotels & Resorts celebrates its 7th year with ABC Connection

ABC Connection and Macdonald Hotels & Resorts have renewed their long term business relationship with a new 3 year commercial agreement. This will allow Macdonald Hotels & Resorts to gain maximum benefit from ABC Connection's latest initiatives and developments, including:

·      New 3 year strategic partnership agreed with the Hotel Booking Agents Association to provide:

o    co-branded systems and online tools for their member agencies

o    exclusive provision of hotel and venue content to the HBAA

o    collaboration on industry research and white papers

·      Global agreement signed with Pegasus Solutions to distribute rich hotel and venue content to their channel partner network including GDS, OTA’s and online travel portals

·      ATPi, one of the most exciting and dynamic brands in the travel world have signed a global agreement with ABC Connection for its Request for Meetings and Request for Proposal solutions. The agreement enables ATPi to consolidate its meeting and managed events programs within a single solution that enables local market requirements to be integrated.

·      ABC Connection’s Request for Meetings system is now positioned as the leading edge meetings solution to the booking agency and travel management community. Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Key Locations, Hotel Desk, Redfern Travel and Hillgate Solutions are now live on the system and more agents will be announced shortly. We plan to have over 20 booking agents and TMC’s using the system within the next 12 months.

·      Newmarket International is integrating the Request for Meetings system with their Meeting Broker and Delphi systems – launched at their EMEA User Conference in May

·      Conferma and ABC Connection are integrating Event Trustee, Conferma’s automated invoice settlement tool, with the Request for Meetings solution

·      ABC Connection’s new Request for Proposal system for annual accommodation and meetings tenders is now being launched for hotel groups, booking agents and TMC’s
